Want to work with me?

Here are some ideas. Let’s chat.

Just want to get in touch? Scroll down.

  • Workshops

I create and deliver engaging, bespoke workshops that inspire measurable results in no time. Everyone can draw. I have never met someone who cannot create something wonderful.

Short or long lessons/courses for in-person groups up to 30 individuals available. (Online numbers are more flexible.) Due to the ongoing pandemic, in-person workshops are offered only during the warmer months for outdoor or well-ventilated spaces, but get in touch for more information and planning.

  • Speaking, lectures, & interviews

I’ve been speaking in public for a very long time. I have been a live performer, an FM radio DJ, a podcaster, and I am an online teacher with tens of thousands of unique students.

I’m comfortable live or recorded, on a stage or on a screen. I can project to a room without a mic. I make interviews easy, and rarely say “um”.

  • Demonstrations

Got something you want people to learn? I can help. Live or pre-recorded, I can confidently deliver with personality and relatability, to any age group. I balance professionalism with fun.

I am as comfortable with power tools as I am art supplies. However, if it’s between birds or snakes, I’d prefer snakes. I have my reasons.

  • Guest blogging and content creation

I have written reviews, tutorials, and articles for various business sites (typically art-related, but I’ve also written about footwear, chocolate, sex toys, and tech), produced training videos and article contributions for Skillshare, and created unique video content for events by The Pigeon Letters, and others.

  • Individual tuition

I have taught individuals privately for decades. You can learn specific things (materials or techniques) or I can develop a bespoke course based on a discussion of your goals.

I expect hard work and trust in my process, and if you give me that (and some money), I will make you a better artist.

Not sure where to begin? I also offer a menu of pre-planned 1-to-1 Zoom sessions. Booking is easy and secure. See more on my Learn page.

  • Mentorship, critique, curation, & advice

Are you starting out as an artist or transitioning to art as a business? Do you need input on a project or portfolio? Need an objective eye to help you curate the best exhibition experience of your work for the viewer?

I have done all of these things, and I can do them for you. My clients and students always get my no-bullshit honesty and help with solutions. I share my secrets, but my goal is to bring out your unique best.

Also, check my Learn page for current 1-to-1 Zoom sessions. Booking is easy and secure.

Wanna send me stuff? Cool. I love working with companies large and small.

I can also help you with reviewing or developing art-related materials, products and services.

I’m multi-disciplinary with decades of experience.

Note: Hiring me for this service is paid work regardless of the results of my involvement, and does not guarantee favourable promotion as an influencer on social media or elsewhere. I will not bullshit for money or freebies.

It’s important to know this, because I’ve refused to endorse/promote multiple art supplies because they were not quality I would use myself, nor recommend to my students. I am honest, fair and thorough, and will provide comprehensive feedback.
