That Winter We All Went Blind

This is about a hard winter dominated by depression felt and shared by close friends. It’s hard to remember anything but the bad stuff, to see anything that brought smiles. There are hints of naked brambles, veins of tree branches, stormy days. This is what I see in this piece. Something bleak.
