About your instructor:
Jen led her first art classes at the age of 6, and carried on with art throughout her school days by selling pencil portraits and sign-painting for local businesses. She taught art to young teens before heading off to achieve a degree in Industrial Design from The Art Institute of Pittsburgh. She has been a working muralist, corporate display artist for former national retail giant Musicland Group (US), and a commissions painter. She is a Top Teacher at Skillshare, tutors privately, and for several years taught group life drawing classes at Wooda Farm in Crackington Haven, North Cornwall.

Each lesson has been fun and totally absorbing- where did time go!? I have learnt so much! The mix of theory and practical, ‘hands on’ works really well for me. Your lessons have been excellent value. Thank you so much!

I’ve really enjoyed the sessions and appreciate all your guidance and support. I’m feeling much more confident, and I’m definitely moving towards developing a style which I’m comfortable with and looking forward to continuing.

As always, you gave good advice and I find I need reminding of the stuff that works!

Yesterday’s couple of hours was really inspirational – it suddenly seems like having a go at experimenting with paint is no longer so daunting. Challenging certainly, so much to learn, but I really enjoyed it.
