Just finished: The Women - 2014 Oil and acrylic on 40"x30" canvas

This began life as an abstract painting I was disappointed with, leaving a half-finished canvas in my "sh*t pile" of works in progress. I dug out the canvas, turned it ninety degrees and planned a three woman composition. It's rare for me to do any planning for my art, but this one had an initial charcoal sketch of wire form ladies on paper.

This painting isn't exactly the result I was aiming for, but I'm not disappointed. I'll probably offer prints of this after it's dried, varnished, and photographed for the portfolio. (That'll be a few months, even though I used quick drying oil medium. It still takes time.)
