Vibrant and more than a little suggestive, this shouts about the complicated and changeable definition of a "good woman."

I have a fascination with the shifting of attitudes regarding the arena of "adult entertainment" and the rise of a new era of women being more than a willing set of holes in pornography. They are writers, poets, musicians, film makers... They are involved in the business rather than victims of it.

This painting is very different to a series I'm working on that looks at closely cropped portraits of vintage porn actors and actresses. Where this is a vibrant assault to the eye, the series of portraits is far more subdued in expression, despite the bold colour choices involved. More on that later...
